This cognitive-behavioral orientation represents the theoretical-practical scientific approach that predominates in current psychology thanks to the multitude of empirical evidence that demonstrates its effectiveness when addressing disorders such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, couple relationships, etc.
Its most outstanding qualities are: to operate from a continuous formulation, in cognitive-behavioral terms, of the case, that is, to attend to the dysfunctional ways of thinking and the emotions derived from them, to the triggering and predisposing factors, underlying cognitive schemes and current maladaptive behavior patterns; promote an active collaboration so that therapist and client work together in the resolution of the concrete problems that are agreed upon.

I consider myself a curious, adventurous person with a clear mission since childhood to help people have a life of value, therefore, I have always had a special interest in knowing how people behave and why.

Focus on the present and establish clear and achievable goals, returning to the past to the extent that it is useful to show the origin of current problems; be educational, not limiting itself to offering mere specific solutions but rather facilitating the acquisition of knowledge and techniques that allow the person to reorganize their life in a healthier way; and develop in a limited time by applying it in a structured way, that is, analyzing each emotional state, reviewing the assigned tasks and scheduling new ones, identifying, evaluating and refuting maladaptive ideas and beliefs, involving the client in each step of the process, etc.
I have always liked being on the side of science and, as such, I feel responsible for using the psychological orientation that has the most scientific evidence: Cognitive-behavioral orientation.
